The fabric is woven in Japan and is done carefully individually by craftsmen who have over 30 years of experience. It is easy to careful and doesn’t need any special washing requirements. You can wash it like you would wash normal clothing. The fabric is made with an unevenness is a special feature of the shijira-ori fabric. This type of unevenness is called shibo in Japanese. This fabric is made with the knowledge and wisdom gained by our ancestors who made the fabrics that helped them get through the harsh summers.
