A Patented Purple-Gold Manufacturing Process
In regards to parts of the production process in the manufacturing of our Purple Gold watch, we hold two patents in Japan, and one in the United States and Europe. The process of making purple gold requires precise control of special cooling rates and crystalline structures. As well as this, in order to prevent oxidation, a specialised environment, advanced heat treatment, and specialised surface treating techniques are needed. These complex and delicate processes contribute significantly to the material’s manufacturing difficulty and rarity.
A Precision CITIZEN Miyota 90S5
This watch utilises the CITIZEN MIYOTA 90S5. This movement is a thin premium mechanical movement, which is the driver behind what moves the watch, and is distinguished by a small dial window that reveals the characteristic motion of the mechanism. It is one of CITIZEN MIYOTA’s most versatile mechanical movements.
