Imabari towels are a traditionally made towels that have been made for the past 120 years in the northern part of Ehime Prefecture. This area is abundant with water that has a low metal content and hardness, making it suitable for bleaching and dyeing. By using this soft water, the fibres can be processed gently, which makes for a soft texture and vibrant colour. This means that the final product is an amazing fabric that is super soft and gentle to the skin!
