The Fudō Myōō or Acala statue is said to be the only Buddhist statue by Miyamoto Musashi. The statue when compared to other Fudō Myōō statues is extremely different, and takes on the form of Miyamoto Musashi himself, as the Fudō Myōō wields a sword. The workmanship of the statue is praised in the Miyamoto Musashi Collection of Art Book, saying that it is a statue that you wouldn’t be able to even dream up and recreate.
