An Anti-Mould Effect

Paulownia wood contains compounds called tannin, paulonin, and sesamin, which provide excellent antibacterial and preservative effects. Its natural ability to maintain a stable humidity level also helps suppress mold growth through a combination of antimicrobial and moisture-regulating properties.

Lightweight

Paulownia wood is a porous wood, which makes it low density. Compared to other woods of the same size, it is extremely light and very soft. While it is not suitable for items prone to scratches, such as flooring, it has long been used for furniture, musical instruments, and other applications requiring delicate craftsmanship.
